Prince William police arrested Monica Pollard Lewis, 35, of Keara Court near Manassas in the stabbing death of her husband Perry Lewis, 40.
The incident occurred Saturday around 8:30 a.m., police said.
Police responded to the Lewis' apartment building early Sunday morning on a report that a body had been found in the bushes in front of the building. The investigation revealed that Lewis had stabbed her husband during an argument and left his body outside, police say.
She is being held without bond at the Manassas-Prince William regional jail in Manassas. Her court date is Sept. 23.
