Man arrested on eight counts, including DUI

A 26-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested on multiple charges after allegedly calling police about his own reckless driving, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Daniel Lipscomb, of 16028 Carroll Ave, was charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence, driving under a suspended operators license, no headlights, no registration, driving on a sidewalk, destruction of private property and falsely summoning the police, Hernandez said.

Police responded to a call to the area of Penbury Court and Tassia Lane in Woodbridge around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a reckless driver complaint, Hernandez said.

The officers found an ATV being driven recklessly and at a high rate of speed up and down Cardinal Road near U.S. 1, Hernandez said.

According to police, the ATV then sped off into a wooded area.

About 30 minutes later, police caught the driver on a nearby street, Hernandez said.

Lipscomb was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and has an April 21 court date.

Man arrested on three counts after shot fired

Paul Omar Perry, 36, of 9877 Shallow Creek Loop, Apt. 102, outside Manassas, was charged with reckless handling of a firearm, shooting into an occupied dwelling and violation of a protective order by having a firearm at his apartment around 10:02 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Perry is accused of shooting his handgun inside his apartment, Hernandez said.

He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and has a March 19 court date.

Flasher reported inside Sudley Road store

A 45-year-old Nokesville woman reported to police that a man exposed himself inside a store in the 7700 block of Sudley Road near Manassas around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

The flasher was described as black, between 26 and 34 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He had short dreadlocks, police said, and was wearing a white T-shirt, a black fleece and white workout pants.

Man reportedly points gun, threatens woman

A Woodbridge woman reported to police that an unknown person pointed a handgun at her and threatened to kill her in the 12400 block of Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge around 8:40 p.m. Sunday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

The woman was not injured, police said. A detailed description of the assailant was not available.

Pizza deliverer robbed at gunpoint in Dale City

A 33-year-old Woodbridge man was robbed at gunpoint while delivering pizza in the 3500 block of Forestdale Avenue in Dale City around 10:20 p.m. Monday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Police said the gunman robbed the man of an undisclosed amount of cash while he was walking back to his vehicle.

The robber was described as a black male, between 16 and 22 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a red T-shirt.

The victim was not injured during the robbery, Hernandez said.

Clerk, 51, is robbed at Dale City store

A 51-year-old female store clerk was robbed while working at a store in the 4300 block of Dale Boulevard in Dale City around 11:10 a.m. Monday, said Officer Erika Hernandez, Prince William police spokeswoman.

Police said the robber brought merchandise to the counter and then threatened the clerk with a handgun.

The robber fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, Hernandez said.

Police described the robber as a black man, between 50 and 55 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing black gloves, black pants, a black coat, black beanie hat and black glasses, police said.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
