Prince William County police arrested three men who they believe are responsible in numerous burglaries that occurred late last year.
Police said detectives from the Burglary Unit received information in reference to the burglaries and developed the identity of the suspects that were involved.
Two churches and 11 residences were burglarized during September through December 2007. A lap top computer, hand guns, jewelry, a safe, digital cameras, camcorders, video games systems, video games, DVD movies, iPods, cash, and personal documents were stolen during the
burglaries.
Daniel Robert Alfaro, 18, residing at 7420 Emerald Drive is being charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny. Jerome Franklin Sheppard Jr., 19, is being charged with statutory burglary , grand larceny and petit larceny and a 17-year-old, male, from Manassas is being charged with statutory burglary and grand larceny.
Alfaro and Sheppard have been held without bond. Alfaro has been schedule to appear in court April 15. Sheppard has been scheduled to appear in court April 1. Petitions were obtained for a 17-year-old from Manassas and he will be having a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, police said.
The investigation continues.
