Inaugural concert a great success

»  Comments | Post a Comment

There is a new and extremely rare jewel in the crown of Prince William County in the form of the new Dominion Symphony Orchestra of Prince William, which gave its inaugural concert to a capacity crowd Sunday, May 4 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Woodbridge.

Patrons of the arts who attended this concert and who appreciate fine music performed by the finest professional musicians, were impressed by the exceptional acoustics of the venue, the complete visibility of the orchestra, the variety of the program, the extremely high artistic quality of the concert and the two exceptional young soloists — 15-year-old pianist, Hanbo Liu, and 13-year-old cellist, Daniel Tavani.

The Dominion Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Chris Hite, meets the artistic needs of the discriminating listener who appreciates the classics as performed by some of the finest professional players in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Our continued patronage will ensure the establishment of the Dominion Symphony Orchestra as a prominent artistic organization that will offer a new level of musical variety, beauty and excitement in Prince William County.
