It is my understanding that the Virginia Department of Health has “hired” a company to survey people in Virginia regarding health issues.
I have received my second call from a company to survey Virginia residents regarding their health. The first call, I told them that I had contacted the governor, explaining my reasons for disapproving of the survey, and that I do not respond. I wished her a good day and hung up. I just received a second call. I did not even respond, I simply hung up. Hereafter, I will not respond to any caller who is not identified in the caller ID as anything more than an “incoming call.”
Why are my tax dollars being spent to hire a company to ask anyone questions regarding their health. I have my own physicians, pay my own bills and am very upset that the tax dollars of Virginia are being spent so unnecessarily. This is a tough economic time. Instead of paying this company, reduce the taxes — of which there are so many — and help counties reduce their taxes, so that counties like Prince William will not feel it is necessary to raise the property tax level by 28 percent.
