A pedestrian was struck while walking on Wellington Road near Tac Court in the Manassas area.
Rescue crews who responded to the scene just after 10 a.m. Wednesday said the man suffered two broken legs.
The man was struck by a car travelling at about 40 mph, said rescue crews.
He is expected to recover. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene to talk with authorities.
