Manassas police are looking for a man they say forged and cashed stolen checks.
Police said Jeffery Allen Feathers, 34, stole checks in the amount of $2,600 from his employer, forged and cashed them in March and April.
He also charged an additional $3,000 to a company credit card without authorization, said Manassas police spokesman Tim Neumann.
Feathers is also accused of forging and cashing $1,000 worth of checks from an acquaintance, Neumann said.
Feathers is wanted for embezzlement, credit card theft and for operating under false pretenses.
His last known address was at 9405 Battle St. in Manassas, but police think he may have fled to Florida. Neumann stated it is possible that he may have returned to the Manassas area.
He is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with blue eyes and brown hair.
