»  Comments | Post a Comment

Police said a 13-year-old boy was robbed of his iPod outside of a Walmart in Dumfries on Wednesday afternoon.

The teenager said he was approached by the alleged robber, who asked him to see the iPod, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez. Then the alleged robber, who Hernandez also said was armed with a knife, took it from him.

The alleged robber, a 16-year-old Woodbridge boy, was found a short time later walking along U.S. 1 in Dumfries, said Hernandez. He was charged with armed robbery and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
