» Thursday, 6:30 to 9 p.m., a martial arts class will be at the Dumfries Community Center. Those interested in taking the class should contact Sylvester Cheatham at 703-221-7873.

» Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m., an art class will be at the Dumfries Community Center. Those interested in taking a class should contact Peggy Lusk at 703-670-4127.

» Sunday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., "Rock'n the Forest" will be at Prince William Forest Park. Participants are invited to take a 15-minute journey through 150 million years of forest history.

» Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dumfries Farmers Market will take place at Dumfries United Meth-odist Church. In addition to fresh produce, the market will feature craft booths, gourmet items, music, children and youth activities, pony rides and more.

» Saturday, 6:30 p.m., Four Seasons at Historic Virginia hosts an International Pot Luck, followed by the James Bond movie "From Russia with Love" at the clubhouse.
