A Manassas area man was arrested this morning when police said he exposed himself outside of a Dunkin Donuts on Va. 28.

Police were initially called Friday morning for a report of a naked man running along Liberia Avenue in Manassas.

When they arrived about 11:25 a.m., they found a shirtless Artemio Rojas Sanchez, of 7800 Tayloe Drive, kneeling on the sidewalk in front of the Subway restaurant on Va. 28, near the intersection of Liberia Avenue, said Manassas police Sgt. Tim Neumann.

While kneeling, Sanchez pulled down his pants exposing himself to customers inside Dunkin Donuts, said Neumann.

Sanchez was taken into custody, no longer exposed and wearing shoes, and was charged with indecent exposure, added Neumann.

An employee at the doughnut shop said employees working Friday morning witnessed police make the arrest.

This is the latest in a string of reported indecent exposures that have kept police officers in the county busy this month.

On Wednesday, police were called to the 9900 block of Liberia Avenue, when a 55-year-old woman said a man exposed himself to her outside of her business, about 7 p.m.

The man fled the scene before police arrived.

Another incident of a man exposing himself was also reported earlier in the week, this time along Va. 234 in Manassas.

Manassas investigators are looking into any possible connections Sanchez might have to the other reported cases, Neumann said.

Police in Woodbridge have heard of similar reports, where on Wednesday night officers were called to the Chinn Regional Library for a report of a man was repeatedly touching himself inappropriately.

In an interview with police, a 25-year-old woman identified Jason Edward McGrann, 39, of 15665 Renton Court in Dumfries, as the man who was touching himself, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
