I am a first time home buyer that has been approved to buy a house.
I recently was under contract with no kickout for a house in Manassas.
I was awaiting my appraisal to find out Prince William County sold it on their courthouse steps at an auction on Dec. 4.
I have submitted more than 15 offers on houses in the county. I have not won one of them.
I am competing with investors. Most of them offer the same thing I am offering, except they have cash and I have a mortgage loan.
Those same houses come back on the market after three months with the starting prices $30,000 to $50,000 higher than the original listing price.
I am writing to you to get the word out.
It is not fair. I graduated from high school, I have a job, I have money saved, and I am 22 years. old. What can I do to get a house?
