Buses to run on modified schedule Monday

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Pentagon Metro station will be closed Monday; however OmniRide buses will still have access the Pentagon bus terminal, officials said.

Officials said the Metro station is expected to close late Friday and remain closed over the weekend. The station is slated to reopen on Monday after extensive track work is completed.

But that won't effect the bus schedule there.

Buses are expected to have regular access to the Pentagon’s bus terminal so OmniRide buses should not be affected by the closure, said Christine Rodrigo, OmniRide spokeswoman.

OmniRide buses will run on a modified schedule in observance of President's Day on Monday.

She encouraged riders to check printed bus schedules or the transit agencies’ Web site to see which commuter buses will run that day.

Prince William, Linton Hall and Manassas Metro Direct services will also run on a modified schedule, Rodrigo said.

Those buses take passengers from the Woodbridge, Linton Hall and Manassas to nearby Metro stations.

OmniLink busses and the Cross-County Connector service will operate as normal on Monday.
