WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro plans to run more buses to the region's international airports for inauguration weekend.
From Friday until next Wednesday, buses on the B30 route will run every 15 to 20 minutes from the Greenbelt Metro station to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Buses also will run every 15 to 20 minutes on the modified 5A route from the Rosslyn Metro station to Dulles International Airport.
Buses on both routes usually run every 30 minutes.
To better handle demand, Metro says two new accordian-style buses will run on each line. The new buses can carry 103 people instead of 76 people.
