Another Prince William County teenager has been killed in car crash. She is the second teen to die in a crash in less than a week.

Police said Alyssa Leighann Beach, 16, of the 10000 block of Schaeffer Lane in Nokesville, was driving west in the 12400 block of Vint Hill Road when she lost control of her car, went into a ditch and hit a tree.

She and a 16-year-old passenger, who was also in the car when it crashed, were taken to a local hospital where Beach later died Sunday.

Police said both girls were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and speed or alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor.

Both girls attended Brentsville High School.

Beach is the second teen to be killed in a car accident in less than a week.

On Wednesday 16-year-old Shelby B. Nicholson was coming home from the mall when the Chevy Aveo she was riding in collided with a Lincoln Aviator on Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. The 16-year-old driver was taken to the hospital in a coma.

As of the weekend the girl remained in the coma, a family member said.

Both girls attended Woodbridge High School.
