Car wash event to benefit St. Jude Research Hospital
There’s going to be a party at the Mozart Auto Spa at 15705 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge on July 18.
McGruff the Crime Dog will be there along with police cars from Dumfries and Prince William County.
There will be food, drinks, music and ice cream, and it’s all to benefit St. Jude Research Hospital.
Ed Raslowsky, the owner Mozart Auto Spa, said the car wash will donate half of its profits for the day to the children’s hospital.
“We had an opportunity to do this and we really wanted to get involved because we all love St. Jude,” Raslowsky said.
Raslowsky and his partner Gino Piaggio are working with the Sports and Health Club in Dale City to put on the charity event, Raslowsky said.
Car washes range from $10.95 to $24.95 at the spa which also offers detailing.
The event between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. should be fun, Raslowsky said.
“It’s going to be a family day,” Raslowsky said.
