ABC Store opens at Madison Crescent

Gainesville, VA [July 8, 2009] – The Marketplace at Madison Crescent continues to grow and expand with the opening of a brand new Virginia ABC Store on Wednesday, July 8th at 10:00am. Offering an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages, the store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am – 9:00pm, and Sundays from 1:00pm -6:00pm.

This follows shortly on the heels of the grand opening of Desiderio Italian-American Grill, an upscale eatery that has rapidly become a neighborhood favorite. Desiderio’s Greg Keating announced this week, “We have just celebrated our 5,000th customer walking through the doors.”

Desiderio is the latest addition to the Marketplace’s dining destinations, joining the Brooklyn Brothers Pizzaria, where they serve authentic New York style pizza, and a Subway “Eat Fresh” sandwich shop, with indoor and patio seating. Any trip to the Marketplace should include a stop at Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Treatery, the perfect place to fulfill your sweet tooth cravings.

The Marketplace at Madison Crescent boasts a Harris Teeter grocery store, open 24-hours a day, seven days a week. The store, at over 52,000 square feet, features a popular Starbuck’s counter and full service pharmacy. Other Madison Crescent retailers include Atlantic Billiards and Spas, Avalon Nail Spa, Hair Cuttery, Marketplace Dry Cleaners, Seasons Cards and Gifts and Sleepy’s The Mattress Professionals. Madison Crescent is also home to the Madison Crescent Professional Building which houses Anytime Fitness, S.R. Clarke, Inc., a corporate recruiting firm, Prince William Family Medicine, Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney and SunTrust Mortgage. Chevy Chase Bank rounds out the center with two drive-thru windows for friendly and convenient banking.
