A Lake Ridge man was tased with a stun gun after he told his attacker he had no money.

Police said the 29-year-man and a 33-year-old woman were walking their dog in the 3200 unit block of Ridge View Court, about 10 p.m. Monday.

The apartment complex sits behind a shopping center off of Old Bridge Road, near Lake Ridge Middle School.

Three masked men approached the victims from behind – one of them armed with a gun and another armed with a stun gun – and demanded money, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.

One of the men struck the victim on his face, after the man told the robbers he didn’t have any money, said Hernandez.

The man fell to the ground and then was tased with a stun gun.

The woman told the attackers she would go to the their apartment and get some money for the attackers, said Hernandez.

Both victims were forced into their home while one of the attackers waited at the front door.

All three left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The three men were said to be wearing black pants, shirts and ski masks.

One of the men was wearing a mask depicted in the 1996 horror film, “Scream.”

Hernandez said the victims suffered only minor injuries during the incident.
