Nokesville man faces sexual battery trial

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A Nokesville man faces trial in September on charges of sexual battery involving juveniles.

James Blankenship, of 12408 Parkgate Drive in Nokesville, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of taking indecent liberties with a minor, according to records in Prince William Circuit Court. The offenses occurred between Jan. 1, 1986 and Dec. 31, 1989.

Blankenship was arrested in February and indicted in April. A trial was originally set for July 7, but is now set for Sept. 21 and 22.

Police said they had no information about the case and the court file was in judge’s chambers this week, so details about the crimes were not readily available.
