Manassas police are searching for Amber Courtney Waldera, 22, who is wanted on forgery and uttering charges in connection with a string of bad checks written to a Giant Food store in Manassas.
Police allege Waldera tried to pass forged checks at the store in March.
Waldera is black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 125 pounds. She last lived in Manassas, but also has ties in the Dale City and Woodbridge areas.
She is wanted on 12 counts of forgery and uttering.
Anyone with information is asked to call Manassas City Crime Solvers at 703-330-0330. Callers don't have to give their names. Tips leading to an arrest could earn a reward of up to $1,000.
