These are some of the online reader reactions to the killings of 32-year-old Darnell McPherson and 35-year-old William Earl Anderson Jr. Police say a Potomac
and Rappahannock Transportation Commission bus driver, Glenn Kinard Wade, shot and killed the two men at the OmniRide bus terminal in Prince William County
Monday.

I knew Nell (Darnell) since February. We went out a couple times. He was a really really wonderful guy who just loved his kids. I am crushed and heartbroken to
learn of his death. For those of you who were upset that your ride home was messed up, think about his two kids who won’t ever see their father again. Does no
one value human life anymore?

What the killer did is premeditated murder. Two lives for whatever dispute they had. I hope he pays; no sympathy for these killers. Death penalty or a life of hard
labor. I hope he is miserable for life.

How does a disagreement escalate to a double murder? This was a respected guy that suddenly went crazy? This was a senseless killing of two people who will
be sorely missed by family and friends.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to all who knew and loved these two individuals.

... perhaps we should hear the facts of the case before convicting Wade of “premeditated murder” and handing down the death penalty. Two people are tragically
dead. That doesn’t automatically mean their killer is a murderer. That’s what the investigation and the trial process are for.

Darnell was a friend. I am truly grieving right now. I saw him every day. He was an active father, and being a driver kept him a part of the community.
