Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a shooting outside a Woodbridge fire station last month.
Rodney Stephan Conyers is charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in connection with the May 5 incident, police said.
Security camera footage from the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department station on Montgomery Avenue shows someone firing a gun from a car window about 11 a.m. that morning.
No one was injured, but neighbors were scared since the shooting happened in front of a retirement community on a street lined with single family homes.
After gunshots rang out, witnesses said they saw two cars speed off, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Last week, police obtained arrest warrants charging Conyers in connection with the case.
Conyers, of Old Landing Way in Woodbridge, turned himself in to police and was later released on a $10,000 bond, said Hernandez.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing feud between Conyers and another man, a 21-year-old Woodbridge resident.
Hernandez said the 21-year-old was a passenger in a car fired on that morning.
