Gainesville coffee house supporting cancer victim

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Deja Brew Coffee House in Gainesville will donate 10 percent of its sales Saturday to the Fauquier Relay for Life Team Costis.

Nine-year-old Matthew Costis, whose father, Tom, works at Stonewall Jackson High School, has been fighting a brain tumor for more than a year.

In addition, Deja Brew will also provide shirts for Team Costis, which will participate in the Fauquier Relay for Life on May 30 and 31.

Stop by the shop for a hand-pulled espresso drink and a homemade pastry, or if the weather is warm, enjoy a 100 percent crushed fruit smoothie. Deja Brew will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

To donate to Team Costis, visit http://main.acsevents. org/goto/teamcostis. The Costis family is also grateful for donations to assist with costs related to Matthew’s treatment.
