The 40th Anniversary Montclair Day is two weeks away and the Community Events Committee is in need of volunteers. There are many shifts available in all areas. Volunteering provides a great opportunity for those new to Montclair to meet their neighbors, those who have been here a while to spend time with their friends, and students to earn service hours. All volunteers receive a Montclair Day T-shirt and tickets redeemable for food, drink, games and rides. This year Montclair Day will be held on June 6 from 2 to 10 p.m. at Dolphin Beach. Volunteers are needed to work two-hour shifts. To volunteer, please call 703-878-0024 or e-mail man grios4montclair@hotmail.com.

Charities donates games

Azalea Charities has donated games to the patients at Walter Reed Army Medical Center's Ward 54, where soldiers suffering from acute mental health conditions are treated.

The games, including Sorry, Battleship, Jenga, Monopoly, Clue, Risk, Taboo, Game of Life, Scattegories and many more, help the patients to learn problem-solving and coping mechanisms in therapeutic recreation groups and during their leisure time.

Azalea Charities has additional plans to provide new basketball and exercise equipment to Ward 54. Donations to the soldiers in Ward 54 are part of Azalea Charities' Aid for Wounded Soldiers program.

Contributions may be made online at www.azaleacharities.org.

Grace Baptist Church located at 14242 Spriggs Road will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Sunday.

Please join them for a combined worship service at C. D. Hylton High School on Spriggs Road at 10 a.m. to honor God for what he has done through the church and in our lives for these first 25 years. Former Pastor Charlie Chilton along with the present Pastor Tim Perrin will be speaking.
