Dale City

n A man said someone grabbed his hat, which contained a lottery ticket and a small amount of cash, while he was walking near Darbydale Avenue and Elmwood Drive about 4:30 p.m. Tues-day. He was not injured. The robber was described as black, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing dark colored clothes.

n A GPS unit and a cell phone adapter were stolen from a 2001 Suzuki Esteem parked in the 4400 block of Evansdale Road between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday. The stolen property is valued at $520. A rear window was forced open.

Dumfries

n A GPS unit was stolen from a 2003 Ford Expedition parked in the 17800 block of Oyster Bay Court between 9 p.m. Oct. 24 and 3 a.m. Oct. 25. The property is valued at $200.

Triangle

n A crossbow valued at $800 was stolen from a home in the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road between 6 p.m. Oct. 24 and 9:30 a.m. Monday. A rear door was forced open.

Woodbridge

n A woman returned to her home about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 16800 block of Francis Lane and found a basement window had been broken. Nothing was taken from the home.

n Three flat screen TVs, jewelry, cash, men's dress shoes and a cell phone was stolen from a home in the 2400 block of Port Potomac Drive between 10 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. A rear basement door was forced open.

n Tires and rims were stolen from four 2009 GMC Denalis while they were parked in a car deal-ership in the 14500 block of U.S. 1 in Woodbridge between 10 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday. The stolen property is valued at $14, 855. One of the trucks had a window broken.

n A laptop computer, iPod, GPS unit, a back pack and a fleece jacket was stolen from a car parked in the 14800 block of Downey Court between midnight and 9 a.m. Tuesday. A second victim said his car, parked nearby, was rummaged through. The stolen property is valued at $1,740.

n Airbags and a stereo were stolen from a 1999 Ford Mustang parked in the 15300 block of Pos-tillion Terrace between midnight and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 28. The stolen property is valued at $2,200.
