» Today through Dec. 19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: the Manassas Museum System presents "Virginia Women in History: 2009 Exhibit." On Sunday at 2 p.m. Claudia Emerson, the Virginia Poet Laureate and a 2009 Virginia Woman in History, will conduct a reading.

» Wednesday, 11 a.m.: the Woman's Club of Manassas and the Stonewall Jackson High School Air Force Jr. ROTC will host a Veterans Day ceremony at the Manassas Veterans Memorial on South Main Street, Manassas. Manassas Mayor Harry "Hal" Parrish II will be the speaker.

»Saturday, 9 a.m.: The third annual City of Manassas Neighborhood Conference at the Boys and Girls Club of Manassas.

»Saturday, 3:30 p.m.: A Victorian Tea at Liberia Mansion where the public can enjoy a formal English Tea with sandwiches, desserts and period music.

» Saturday, 7:30 p.m.: The NOVA Manassas Symphony Orchestra will present a symphony concert "Drama and Fate" featuring works by Bizet and Beethoven at Grace United Methodist Church .

» Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday Nov. 22: "Aladdin Jr.," a musical presentation by the Pied Piper Theatre at Osbourn Park High School.
