Man charged with brandishing shotgun
An Occoquan man was charged with brandishing a shotgun at a woman Sunday afternoon, ac-cording to Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Ronald Eugene Simpson, 66, of 310 Poplar Alley, was arrested after the incident which occurred around 4:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Poplar Alley in Occoquan.
Simpson was released on a $1,000 bond and has a court date of Dec. 18.
Woodbridge man charged with brandishing firearm
Derek Anthony White, 24, of 11851 Antietam Road, Woodbridge, was arrested for brandishing a firearm, reckless handling of a firearm and eluding police, said Prince William County spokes-woman Erika Hernandez.
The incident occurred around 9:13 p.m. in the parking lot of a gas station located in the 14100 block of Minnieville Road.
Police responded to a call about a man armed with a gun. The man was inside a 2007 Dodge Charger when a shot was fired.
As police arrived at the scene, the Charger was driving away. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver sped away.
White was identified as the driver and was later found at his residence. He was released on a $3,000 bond and has a court date of Nov. 30. No one was injured during the incident.
Woodbridge man charged in hit-and-run
A Woodbridge man was arrested on multiple charges stemming from a hit-and-run crash Friday around 11 p.m. in the 14700 block of Dillon Avenue in Dale City, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Gavin Aladin Mohamed Yousef, 18, of 14200 Fallbrook Drive was arrested for driving under the influence, felony hit and run and possession of a concealed weapon (brass knuckles).
A 2004 Mazda 3 had crashed into the lower level of a house and the driver had fled the scene.
The driver was later found walking near the scene of the crash and was identified as Yousef, according to police.
Bond and court date information were not available. No one was injured during the crash.
Man charged with having carnal knowledge of minor
Jairo Alexander Oporto Vasquez of Tacoma Park, Md., was charged with having carnal knowl-edge of a minor, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
The incident occurred Saturday around 6:20 p.m. Vasquez is accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl from Manassas. Vasquez was held without bond and will have a hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
Man charged
in sexual battery
Eric Bennett, 39, of no fixed address was charged with sexual battery for an incident that oc-curred Saturday around 7:10 a.m. in the 14100 block of Fullerton Road in Dale City, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Bennett is accused of having inappropriate contact with a 20-year-old woman from Dale City while she slept. The victim and the suspect are acquaintances.
Bennett was held on a $1,000 bond and has a Dec. 8 court date.
Alexandria man faces
shoplifting charges
Walter Shane Lundy, 22, of 4307 Cedarlake Court, Alexandria, was charged with grand larceny after an incident Saturday around 6:45 p.m. at a department store in the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Lundy is accused of walking out of the store without paying for $297 in merchandise. He was released on a $2,000 bond and has a court date of Dec. 28.
Manassas woman charged with buying alcohol for minor
Karen Vanessa Lacayo, 38, of 7502 Tendring Trail, Manassas, was charged after an incident Sunday around 12:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of Tendring Trail in Manassas, according to Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Lacayo is accused of giving alcoholic beverages to a 15-year-old girl from Manassas. Lacayo was released on a $1,500 bond and has a court date of Nov. 23. The juvenile was returned to her mother.
Warrenton couple faces shoplifting charges
John Paul Thompson Jr., 46, and Jacqueline Ochoa Thompson, 44, of 5584 Jaclyn Drive in War-renton were charged with grand larceny after and incident Saturday around 2:14 p.m. at a grocery store in the 8200 block of Stonewall Shops Square in Gainesville, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Both subjects are accused of walking out of the store without paying for $724.87 in groceries. John P. Thompson was held on a $3,000 bond and Jacqueline O. Thompson was held on a $2,000 bond. The court date was not available.

Warrenton woman faces drug charge
April Michelle Williams, 42, of 191 Academy Hill Drive in Warrenton, was charged with posses-sion of a schedule I substance (crack-cocaine) Sunday around 3:51 a.m. in the 7900 block of Crescent Park Drive in Gainesville, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
A patrol officer saw a suspicious person and stopped to investigate. Williams was held without bond and has a court date of Jan. 6.
Manassas woman faces drug charge
Tamara Tymone Bush, 27, of 8661 Devonshire Court, Apt. 204, Manassas, was charged with possession of a schedule II substance (cocaine) and being intoxicated in public Saturday around 1:45 a.m. in the area of Prince William Parkway and Nokesville Road in Manassas, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
A patrol officer stopped to assist a stranded driver. While the officers where assisting the driver, the passenger was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
After her arrest, the officer searched the vehicle and discovered suspected drugs, Hernandez said. Bond information was not available. Bush has a court date of Dec. 18.
Manassas man faces drug charge
Robert Nicholas Hudak, 40, of 8394 Cobb Road in Manassas was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and driving under the influence (felony DUI) on Sunday around 10:36 p.m. in the area of Ashton Avenue and Balls Ford Road in Manassas, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop and a subsequent search found drugs in the vehicle, Her-nandez said. In addition, $5,540 in cash was seized.
Hudak was held on a $7,500 bond and has a Jan. 6 court date.
Northern Virginia men face drug charges
Two Northern Virginia men were cgarged with possession of a schedule II substance after an incident Sunday around 10:09 p.m. in the 5500 block of Staples Mill Plaza in Dale City, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
The police responded to investigate a drug activity complaint. The complainant reported that two people were doing drugs in a parked vehicle.
Daniel Walter Ing, 24, of 7304 Skibbereen Place, Springfield, and So Hee Lee, 22, of 14102 Lo-tus Lane, Centreville, were charged with possession of oxycontin without an authorized prescrip-tion.
Ing and Lee were each held on a $2,000 bond and have a Dec. 11 court date.
Dumfries woman faces shoplifting charge
Joyce Ann Todd, 62, of 18085 Tompkin Court in Dumfries was charged with grand larceny Mon-day around 10 a.m. at a department store in the 13700 Foulger Square in Woodbridge, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
Police responded to a shoplifting report and arrested Todd. She is accused of walking out of the store without paying $214.18 in merchandise.
Todd was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. The court date was not available.
Dale City pair faces shoplifting charges
Latrice Marie Cooper, 22, of 15250 Cloverdale Road, Dale City, was charged with grand larceny for an incident Monday around 4:10 p.m. at a department store in the 2400 block of Prince Wil-liam County Parkway in Woodbridge, said Prince William County spokeswoman Erika Hernan-dez.
Police responded to a shoplifting complaint and arrested Cooper and Derrick Wade, 21, of 15250 Cloverdale Road.
Cooper is accused of walking out of the store without paying for $286.88 in merchandise. Wade was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny. Wade is accused of being the look-out during the incident.
Cooper and Wade were each held on $3,000 bonds and have a scheduled court date of Dec. 21.
