On Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 7:30 pm
Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, at the
Corner of Birchdale Ave. and Dale Blvd. will host a community memorial service. Any and all who have experienced loss this past year and feel that facing the coming holidays will be difficult, are invited to this brief time of devotion and helpful suggestions on coping during the holiday season. With a short encouragement of faith, some practical guidance from the Center for Pastoral Counseling, and a brief time of fellowship and refreshment (or a quiet time of remembering), this event is an offer to the community of hope, friendship, and healing.
