The Realtor Association of Prince William Community Services Committee will host the 2009 Fall Bowling Tournament on Oct. 15 at Bull Run Bowl America, 10641 Balls Ford Road, Manas-sas.
The fundraiser will benefit such projects as Un-Trim-A-Tree Holiday program and SERVE Inc. Those interested in participating can call Mary Ann Bendinelli at 703-369-5895 by Oct. 13. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. and bowling starts at 1 p.m. A 50/50 raffle will be held.
Manassas Clay will once again sponsor the fundraiser "Empty Bowls," an evening of food, fun and art to support the work of SERVE Inc. to combat homelessness and hunger.
Participants will have the opportunity to purchase one or more bowls made by the potters of Ma-nassas Club and enjoy a meal of soup or pasta, bread, salad, drinks and dessert. Live music, raffles, pottery demonstrations and face painting will add to the fun-filled evening for the entire family.
The event will take place Oct. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Manassas Baptist Church (in the old Mar-steller Middle School, now called The Rock), 8730 Sudley Road in Manassas.
Admission is $15 for ages 11 and older and $10 for ages 10 and younger. Local area restaurants donate the food.
