The Bel Air Woman's Club will be holding a yard sale Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Covenant on Cloverdale Road here in Dale City. The sale will be in the church parking lot at 15008 Clover-dale. If you would like to rent a table to sell your own items, the cost is just $15. If you would like to donate items to Bel Air for their sale, you may drop them off Oct. 9 between 3 and 7 p.m. or no later than Oct. 10 at 8 a.m. at the church. The club's annual International Dinner will be "An Enchanted Evening in India." Laspal will attend and tell about her life in India, as well as to perform Indian dances and songs.
President Linda Taylor presented two awards at the recent club meeting, One to Wanda Smith for her determination and one to Karen Attreed, the Virginia Federation Northern District president for her patience.
The club welcomed Holly Frish, Nicole Robins and Patty Beatty as new members. They meet the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church of Dale City on Minnieville Road. The club hosts an annual Fashion Show and the Spelling Bee. Family Fun Day
Bethel Christian School will have a Family Fun Day and Sale on Oct. 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. They are on Pennington Lane and are a ministry of Bethel Free Will Baptist. Mountain biking
Join with Prince William Forest Park today at 3 p.m. for "Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day." Trips for kids will conduct a bicycle rodeo and then lead them on a short ride on a single track trail.
