In response to Cal Thomas’s Oct. 2 column “Deception,” I have many things to say.
One: Stop lying before someone actually believes your hateful columns and hurts someone!
Since what you write is so public, you should be ashamed in calling the Muslims who prayed on the White House Lawn terrorists, especially Imam Abdul Malik. America has seen another Cal Thomas in
the past: JOSEPH MCCARTHY! They take advantage of a scared population; play on its fears and spread lies and rumors towards a specific group of people.
Muslims are not terrorists, and you, Thomas, should stop saying so before someone hurts a Muslim, thinking he is protecting his country. You acted like since the Imam dressed differently in the
ceremony than in his Facebook page, he is trying to deceive people. Oh, I’m sorry the Imam doesn’t like to wear the same clothes everyday! When the Imam said he wanted to Islamize democracy, he
didn’t mean that he wants to terrorize non-Muslims and kill them, as you imply. He simply means he wants to take all that is beautiful in Islam: peace, respect, righteousness, and love, and put it into
democracy.
People like you are the real enemies of democracy, as exampled when you wrote an article stating, “All non-western European immigrants should conform to our values, or be SHIPPED HOME!” Some
democracy you want! Seems your ideal democracy only includes white people.
If you want a terrorist, Thomas, you shouldn’t look in a mosque, you should look in the mirror, because if you don’t stop your columns that spread false fear, dread, panic and hatred amongst Americans,
you’re going to have innocent blood on your hands. Isn’t that what terrorists do?
