A Prince William County grand jury has handed down indictments in the June double slaying at a bus terminal in Woodbridge.

Glenn Wade, 40, of Woodbridge, was indicted Monday on charges of first-degree murder for the June 15 shootings that killed two men outside the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission terminal on Telegraph Road.

Darnell McPherson, 32, of Dale City and William Earl Anderson Jr., 35, of Woodbridge, shot and killed each other in a parking lot of the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission bus terminal in Woodbridge, prose-cutors said.

Wade is charged in McPherson's death.

After a preliminary hearing in Prince William General District Court last month, prosecutors said that there was "animosity" between Wade and McPherson, who both worked as PRTC bus drivers, in the months leading up to the shooting.

Prosecutors believe that Wade called Anderson, who was his cousin, and asked him to come to the bus terminal that day. Anderson and McPherson did not know each other, witnesses said.

Prosecutors believe that after the shooting, Wade disposed of the gun Anderson used. McPherson's gun was found at the scene. Anderson's gun was never recovered.
