A rash of car thefts occurred over the weekend in Woodbridge.
According to police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez, there were reports of four vehicles stolen in the Woodbridge area between Thursday evening and early Sunday morning. A car was also reported stolen from Dumfries over the weekend.
Hernandez said police haven’t made a connection between the thefts yet.
A white 2008 Ford 15-passenger van valued at $19,837 was stolen from a hotel parking lot Thursday between 2:30 and 7:47 a.m. in the 14500 block of Gideon Drive in Woodbridge.
A gray 2008 Ford Fusion four-door valued at $23,000 was stolen between 9:30 and 10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge. The incident occurred when the victim parked her vehicle in the rear of a restaurant and when she returned, it had been stolen.
A gray 2006 Honda Accord four-door valued at $16,000 was stolen Saturday between 1 and 2:27 a.m. in the 13100 block of Marina Way in Woodbridge. The vehicle was stolen while the victim was in a restaurant.
A white 1999 Jeep Cherokee SUV valued at $10,000 was stolen between Saturday around 8:30 p.m. and Sunday around 5 a.m. from 15300 block of Watermill Terrace in Woodbridge. The victim had parked his vehicle in front of his residence when it was stolen.
A light blue 1999 Ford Taurus four-door valued at $2,500 was stolen Sunday between 5 and 9 a.m. in the 16200 block of Taconic Circle in Dumfries. The victim had parked her vehicle in front of her residence when it was stolen.
