A 12-year-old Dale City girl was raped and sexually assaulted Monday by two of her family members, police said.

Officers were called to a home off of Hemingway Drive at 5 p.m. to investigate a sexual assault complaint. When they arrived they learned the victim had been inappropriately touched and raped, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.

She was treated at a local hospital for her injuries, said Hernandez.

Julio Cesar Aguire-Molina, 27, was charged with rape and Carlos E. Iraheta, 52, was charged with aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration.

Both men were held without bond and have a hearing pending in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Monday’s case is the latest in a string of incidents this year where children have been sexually assaulted in Prince William County.

In February, investigators said they were looking for a Honduran national named Marcos Danilo Reyes Banegas, who is charged with raping an 8-year-old Woodbridge girl. Police said Banegas knew the victim. Police have not captured Banegas.

A Triangle man in March was charged with raping a 16-year-old girl inside of his car while it was parked in the area of Cockpit Point and Possum Point roads near Dumfries.

In July, police said a 21-year-old man twice had sexual relations with an 11-year-old girl who lived in the same home in which he was staying. He was charged with rape and forcible sodomy.

On Sept. 8, police were called to a Dale City home to investigate a domestic dispute, and found that a 12-year-old girl had been raped by a family member. A 37-year-old man was charged with rape in that case.
