Scouting for cleaner water

Forest Park High School senior and Girl Scout Lizzie Saccoccia spent over 90 hours working on her Gold Award project, titled "Let's Keep Water Clean From Storm Drains to the Chesapeake Bay." She painted "Do Not Pollute, Drains to Bay" on more than 125 storm drains in Montclair. Saccoccia also educated the Montclair community about the importance of clean water at its Oktoberfest celebration. Girl Scouts that assisted Saccoccia were Forest Park seniors Callie Brown, fellow Gold Award candidate Kerri Frost, Carli Sichler and Laura Walters.
