The merchants of Potomac Festival and Festival at Old Bridge shopping centers will host free trick-or-treating on Saturday, rain or shine.

Ghosts, goblins, witches and all children dressed in their Halloween costumes will receive candy and other goodies from participating merchants from Festival at Old Bridge in Lake Ridge from noon to 2 p.m. and at Potomac Festival in Woodbridge from 2 to 4 p.m.

Festival at Old Bridge is located at Old Bridge Road and Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge and features Bloom Food Market, Gold’s Gym and Blockbuster Video.

Potomac Festival is adjacent to Potomac Mills at the intersection of Potomac Mills Road and Optiz Boulevard. The center, which includes businesses on both sides of Potomac Mills Road, features Staples and Outback Steakhouse.

Officers from the Prince William County Sheriff’s office will help participants cross safely between both sides of the center.

Both centers are managed by The Rappaport Companies of McLean.
