As a first-time writer and over 25-year subscriber to this newspaper, I would like to encourage support for Rafael Lopez for the 52nd District. Mr. Lopez is a conservative and a pro-life family man.
He believes higher taxes only hurt our economy and add a burden to businesses. He has legislative experience as a Dumfries councilman.
We need statesman like Rafael Lopez in our state legislature, not more politicians and community organizers.
Mr. Lopez’s degree in Business Administration gives him an understanding of money management and how to plan and organize economic needs for the growth of our community.
His experience in the Dumfries Town Council proves his commitment to community and shows that he has the experience and knowledge necessary to perform in the state legislature.
Mr. Lopez’s involvement and exposure in the community show he understands our 52nd District core values: stimulating the economy, improving education, protecting the community and improving
transportation.
With his attitude in favor of the personal rights of individuals, jobs and business, Rafael Lopez is the best candidate for the 52nd district.
