An opening reception for a new exhibit, "3-D Delights," by Satya Chase and Elena Wright has been set for Nov. 6.

The reception will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the ArtBeat Gallery and includes a silent auction.

Chase has been designing and creating jewelry for more than 30 years. She uses semi-precious stones, crystal, glass, bone, silver, bronze and gold, along with exotic materials and found objects from this world and -- as Chase says -- "the beyond."

Wright creates original leaded and foiled representational and abstract stained glass panels and three-dimensional objects. She accepts commissions and works closely with clients to collaboratively capture and memorialize a relationship, place or object in stained glass art.

The gallery, at 9407 Main St. in Manassas, is a not-for-profit artists' cooperative that features original works in a variety of mediums.

It is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

For more information, call 703-365-8558.

The reception is free to the public.

Staff writer Bennie Scarton Jr. can be reached at 703-369-6707.
