Businesses, organizations and churches are invited to participate in the Nokesville-area Business Expo on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, sponsored by the Nokesville Business Association, is an opportunity for local businesses and groups to meet potential customers, members and volunteers.
For businesses, it's a chance to let visitors know about their services and meet the faces behind the names.
A church can make potential members aware of its beliefs and missions.
People looking for volunteer work in the community, or perhaps beyond, may find an opportunity to serve.
As this expo is for information about area organizations, no sales will be allowed on the floor.
However, participants are encouraged to provide information, samples and giveaways.
They may also want to donate an item for a door prize (not necessarily related to the business). The number of draw-ings will depend upon the number of donations.
