- Thursday, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: The Dumfries Town Council will meet with Historic Dumfries Virginia Inc. in the town council chambers of town hall.
- Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Dumfries Farmers’ Market will be held at the Dumfries United Methodist Church. In addition to fresh produce the market will feature craft booths, gourmet items, music, children and youth activities, pony rides and more.
- Sunday, 5:30 p.m.: There will be a fundraiser/dinner featuring a silent auction of autographed Major League Baseball memorabilia from Albert Pujols, Derek Lee, Chipper Jones and others at Giorgio’s Restaurant in Dumfries. All proceeds benefit the Patriots of Northern Virginia Baseball Organization and Colangelo Charities Inc. Tickets are $65 each. - Tuesday, 7 p.m.: Dumfries Town Council will meet for its monthly work session in the council chambers of town hall.
- Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 22 to 25, 7:30 p.m..: Little Union Baptist Church will celebrate its fall revival. The Rev. Jeffrey Johnson Sr., pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Fairfax, will be the guest speaker. Little Union is located at 17150 Mine Road, Dumfries.
- Sunday, Sept. 27, 5:30 p.m.: The Prince William Community Band will play a free concert at Potomac High School, 3401 Panther Pride Drive, Dumfries. The concert will include classic music as well as more recent selections such as “The Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
