Man attacked after giving his money

Apparently one man's charity wasn't good enough for his attacker.

The 43-year-old victim was approached by two men about 7 p.m. in the 4300 block of Dale Boulevard on Monday. The men asked the victim for money and he handed them $2, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.

But one of the men said that wasn't enough and punched the victim. He fell to the ground and one of the men searched his pockets and pulled his wallet out.

The victim was treated for minor injuries.

The first man is described as black, between 20 and 25 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, thin, with black hair. He was wearing a brown polo-style shirt and black pants.

The second suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium build and black hair. He was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and blue jeans.
