» Saturday at 8 a.m.:

The Nokesville Horse Society will hold its "Gymkhana," or games on horseback, event at James Long Park in Haymarket.

» Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: The Nokesville Farmers Market is open at 13005 Fitzwater Drive.

» Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.: Tuesday Morning Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 will be held at the Independent Hill Neighborhood Library, 14418 Bristow Road.

» Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The Manassas, Fauquier and Centerville Districts of Alcoholics Anonymous will host the "Tri-District AA Fellowship Picnic" at Nokesville Park. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, but bring a dish to share. The picnic is open to everyone with an interest in AA. There will be kids' crafts, horseshoes, volleyball, softball and kickball.
