Head out to Dale City Moose Lodge on Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Make Your Own Scarecrow time with Brownie Troop 899. The cost is just $5 per scarecrow and the lodge is located on Cardinal Drive. This is rain or shine and a great fall family event coming up real soon.
Preschool openings
St. Paul United Methodist Church still has openings for their preschool program. They of course are a faith based school with spaces available for ages 3 to 5. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wreaths Across America
Please contact your local American Legion Post 364 to find out how you, your club, organization or business can participate in the upcoming Wreaths Across America program. This program was created to place wreaths on over 105,000 locations by over 60,000 volunteers in honor of the fallen. To honor those who have served us and paid this cost of freedom, Dec. 12 is National Wreaths Across America Day.
