Manassas police have charged a 15-year-old boy with a robbery last week at the La Flor De Puebla Bakery on Dumfries Road.

Detectives identified the teen as a suspect Friday and he was arrested the next day at Grant Avenue and Church Street, city police Sgt. Tim Neumann said.

The boy was charged with robbery, burglary and grand larceny. Police did not release his name because he’s a juvenile.

The robbery happened about 11:50 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the bakery at 10460 Dumfries Road.

The 53-year-old victim said she was cleaning up at the close of business when the robber walked in through a rear door, implied he had a gun and demanded money.

The victim told the robber she had no money because the owner had taken it with him when he left for the night.

The culprit left without taking anything, running toward the 7-Eleven store across from Milic Street.

The teen is being held without bail at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center pending a court date.
