Police charged a 19-year-old Forest Park High School student with sexually assaulting a female student Thursday at the school, said Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez.
The 18-year-old victim told police she was walking in a hall of the school at 5721 Forest Park Drive in the Dumfries area when Lavone Rasheed Richardson-Crosby held her against her will and forced her to touch him in an inappropriate manner, Hernandez said.
Crosby, of 15308 Edgehill Drive in Dumfries, was charged with abduction, sexual battery and obscene display, Hernandez said.
He was held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 10.
The victim was not injured, Hernandez said.
