Prince William's education foundation, SPARK, is holding an "Eats for Education" event at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Woodbridge on Aug. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
"Guests who attend will enjoy a great Carrabba's lunch and have an opportunity to celebrate the teachers, administrators and staff that help Prince William County School students receive a world class education each and every day," according to a release from Prince William schools.
Tickets are $30. Lunch includes bread, salad, entrée, dessert and a beverage. All proceeds go to SPARK.
SPARK, formerly known as the Prince William County Schools Education Foundation, was founded in 1989 to support "student achievement," the group states on its website. "As board members, we engage local businesses and community partners to fund and promote initiatives that enhance educational excellence."
