PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. -- Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced Tuesday that he has met with four Prince William County state delegates to develop legislative initiatives regarding illegal immigration.
The group first met last week in preparation for the 2011 legislative session, Cuccinelli's office stated in a press release, plans to meet several more times.
Delegates Scott Lingamfelter, Bob Marshall, Jackson Miller and Rich Anderson – all Republicans – are working on a package of bills and policy initiatives to take before the General Assembly.
In the press release, Cuccinelli said he encourages "any lawmaker interested in proposing similar legislation to work with our office to ensure that his or her proposal fits within the constitution’s framework."
