» Monday, 10:30 a.m.: The Chinn Park Regional Library will host "Beginning with Books, for ages 12 to 24 months and their caregivers. The program includes stories, songs and fingerplays chosen specifically for babies. This program provides coaching so that caregivers become more skillful and confident in reading aloud. Space is limited. Registration, in person or by phone, begins one week in advance of the program at the Information Desk at Chinn Park Regional Library. » Feb. 9, 7 p.m.: Occoquan Town Council will meet at Occoquan Town Hall.
» Feb. 11, 8 p.m.: The 2010 Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association Board of Directors Election for three available board seats is the main agenda item for the 38th Annual Meeting of the Membership, which will be held at the Tall Oaks Center located at the corner of Hedges Run Drive and Cotton Mill Drive. The snow date is Feb. 18. Board election results will be announced at the meeting.
