The editor of this newspaper had decided that he will determine whether a word will be published because of "innuendo."
This isn't about obscenities or pornography. This is about the selection of words that may or may not be commonly used to describe persons or situations.
It is ironic that a newspaper would dictate what a reader who expresses an opinion can write even though the words used to are perfectly lawful.
Imagine that your newspaper is more or less selecting stories and letters that meet with its own agenda rather than providing unbiased news. This is a complaint that resonates with the right wing, so I would expect those same voices to actively reject this paper's regressive policies.
