I would just like to thank our two twin U.S. Senators, Webb and Warner, for voting to increase the debt ceiling another $290 billion. This permits the Treasury Department to issue enough bonds to fund our bloated government's operations and programs until mid-February.
The Senate will vote again on the issue Jan. 20, presumably to increase our debt even more. Thanks to representatives like these, this Congress won't be the first to LOWER the ceiling.
Hey, it's those pesky grandkids that will have to pay it anyway, right? And raising our debt load is such a timesaver and so much easier for them than making actual decisions. It is no wonder that Congress gets so much done.
This gives them even more time for trying to figure out how to get Virginians to swallow Reid's health care and the new stimulus; oh I'm sorry, let's call it a jobs bill. Well done to Harry's Little Helpers. Thanks again, guys. We won't forget.
