Central Library in Manassas holds book club

Local book lovers are invited to join Central Community Library's Central Reads Club. Participants meet monthly on the third Wednesday at 1 p.m. to discuss a variety of titles.

On Feb. 17, the group will discuss "The Blood of Flowers" by Anita Amirrezvani.

Registration is not required and for more information, call the library at 703-361-8211.

The library, which is located on Mathis Avenue in Manassas, also hosts Shenanigans, a special craft program for children in kindergarten and up.

The program is held every two weeks on Thursdays at 4 p.m. This week the program features Valentine treats and treasure boxes. Registration in person is required.
